I’d seen several people say Jeremy Bracco had been playing well in the fast-paced first period of the Memorial Cup final. He looked like a man who meant to win.

A power play gave him his opportunity late in the period:

The assists went to draft-eligible top-five prospect Gabriel Valardi and Habs prospect Mikhail Sergachev.

The Erie Otters tied it up shortly after, on a goal by Arizona’s Dylan Strome from free agent Darren Raddysh and Chicago’s Alex DeBrincat, but the team that has scored first is undefeated so far. Windsor has been known for their fast starts this tournament. And they definitely were moving their feet.

With the score tied 3-3 in the third (and Bracco had an assist on one goal and a hand in the other), Bracco makes the go-ahead goal happen.
