The Toronto Maple Leafs will travel to an arena in order to face off against the Winnipeg Jets. Coming off last game, it’s all the more important for the Leafs to put in a good showing and try to build some winning momentum — but we know the Jets will be saying the same.

The Leafs lost two in a row last week, so the sky has already fallen, and there’s blue and white everywhere. Now, no matter what happens, things can only continue to get better, but not less blue or white.

Martin Marincin and Igor Ozhiganov are back as Travis Dermott is still sick. He skated this morning, but is not expected to play. With Tyler Ennis in the lineup, he and Gardiner will be in their 500th game in the NHL, something you might hear once or a thousand times on the broadcast.

The Jets played last night and squeaked out a win against the Red Wings in an uninspiring fashion, so they might be a bit tired.

The Leafs put down a classic Leafs win against the Jets earlier in the week, and all they need to do is repeat that and this whole road vs home theorizing can end forever.

One thing we know, there will be a lot of shots and a team in blue and white will win this.
