Yesterday the Leafs were back home and did the annual Easter Seals skate.

The Furies had a game right after this in the same facility, so some Leafs said hi:

The Marlies also played yesterday in the big house:

Hey, who ranked Mason Marchment the highest in the T25, again? Wish he was a centre and about 25% better.

We’ll have a recap of that game later on, but this was an Eamon McAdam start, and he did very well in this one. Check out Hardev’s recap of the Saturday game if you missed it, he’s got some analysis on the special teams.

We wrote too much for the weekend, so catch up if you missed it:

Canucks recall Sam Gagner from the Marlies - Pension Plan Puppets
The Marlies lose one of their top scoring forwards, and will need to look to their AHL talent to make up the difference.

Adam Brooks and Kasimir Kaskisuo returned as the Marlies were B-Deviled by a 2-1 loss - Pension Plan Puppets
Which Marlies defenders are thriving? Who looks good at forward?

Cassie Campbell-Pascall is the first woman to serve on the HHOF selection committee - Pension Plan Puppets
But I’m not applauding this groundbreaking appointment.

CWHL Recap: Furies lose close one to Inferno 3-2 - Pension Plan Puppets
Goals by Fulton and Nurse weren’t enough to complete the comeback.

In exciting hockey news, the Ducks have sent down Luke Schenn and called up Jake Dotchin, but they also called up a defenceman in case they need one of those.

Auston Matthews took part in full practice in a non-contact jersey, so he’s slowly coming along. With the Leafs at home, they likely won’t bother filling the vacant roster spot. Unless they can find some free agent to sign.

I’m told that Back to Excited will be back next Sunday, so look for that.

Tonight’s game is on at a reasonable hour, so no need to sleep through work today, although, if you want to, go for it.

Look for the preview later on today and something from Fulemin too.
