What a week it's been for goal fans! 23 goals scored in four games, a 7-3 win, a 7-0 win, and a couple losses that almost weren't.

John Tavares scores his 1000th point on Monday and we ended things with Bobby McMann scoring his first NHL goal. Even though the record was 2-1-1 I think overall it was a win.

So that 7-0 last night....

And in that game Matthew Knies got the Gordie Howe hat trick: a goal, assist and fight. He's the first Maple Leaf to do that since Daniel Winnik on Feb. 21, 2015.
