Leafs had a ton of good chances, but were undone by Brett Lebda taking an interference penalty and Patrice Bergeron wiring a one timer on the ensuing power play.
Mike Milbury is currently on NESN talking about how Kessel is ineffective, the shift where he had the puck and an empty net but had the whistle blow for no reason playing in the background hasn't deterred him.
Period 2 is up next, the Leafs need to keep playing fast hard hitting hockey. They're in decent shape.
