Nashville Predators @ Toronto Maple Leafs
07:00 PM at Scotiabank Arena
Watch on: TSN4, FDSNSO

The Leafs last game was at home on October 13 against the Detroit Red Wings, which Toronto lost by a score of 3-2 in regulation. The Leafs have a record of 1-2-0 for a 0.333 Points %.

The Nashville Predators last played away on October 13 against the Ottawa Senators. The Predators won by a score of 4-1 in regulation, and their current league record is 2-0-1 for a 0.833 Points %.

Them

It is almost inconceivable to imagine Nashville underperforming this year to the extent they did last. They have made some mysterious choices on defence, but their forward corps is not the best in the NHL, but it looks playoff-team good enough.

How can you go wrong when both goalies are nicknamed juice?

Us

The Leafs have made no changes to the lineup today with Sammy Blais the only available forward and Phil Myers the defender. They could, and likely will, switch up the lines as the need arises just as they did yesterday.

Easton Cowan looked good in his first game, and there is no limit to how high he will ultimately get, but for now he's on the playing roster.

Steven Lorentz is skating but not yet playing.

Cayden Primeau gets the start. He only played in 11 NHL games last year, and finished the season on the Rocket, where he was very, very good in the regular season and not quite so effective in eight playoff games.

The Game

No one wants to hear you're tired playing a back-to-back this early in the season.

What I want to see is the amount of puck control from the game against Detroit with some better focus on quality offence. They sure had the quantity down yesterday, but a little more attention to the net front is in order.

Go Leafs Go!
