The Canucks are here to play the Leafs tonight, which is the beginning of a busy schedule for our team with six games in twelve days. We'll have our preview of tonight's game out later this morning when news comes out from the morning skate.

The Marlies have kicked off their annual boat show road trip and started it with a much needed win on Friday night, beating the Syracuse Crunch 3-2, snapping their four game losing streak. The scoring started with none other than GREB!

The Marlies play again tonight in Utica, the city that does not have steamed hams, before heading back through Toronto to ride the bus to Manitoba and play against the Moose in Winnipeg next weekend, and then they go on to California to play through the end of the month. Today is also the 30-year anniversary of the end of the 1994-95 season NHL lockout. Here's a good retrospective on it, written ten years ago, so keep that in mind, but it's remained pretty accurate in that the NHL trajectory has lagged the NBA's since this time, despite the NBA stumbling too in recent years. So much has changed in the world of sports business, but so much has not.
