Toronto last played on Sunday on the road to the Sirens. The Sceptres won 4-3 in regulation. Their Points % is now 0.556.
Ottawa last played in a Takeover Tour game in Chicago on Sunday, where they beat the Frost in overtime 3-2. Their Points % is now 0.238.
Them
The Charge are having a very rough season so far with only one regulation win and that overtime decision in their last game giving them any points. They sit in last place, but the PWHL's three-points system means movement in the standings is much more likely than it is in the NHL's system.
The Charge have allowed three goals per game so far, and you cannot win in the PWHL doing that. They have scored less than two per game, which means they have goal problems at both ends of the rink.
Goalie Gwyneth Philips, who has appeared in six of their seven games, has a Save % of .930, which at this early stage of the season is dead on league average. She has faced an average of 33 Shots on Goal Against per game, the most of any goalie in the PWHL.
They don't need to bring that number of shots down all that much before they have a chance to win more often, and don't end up with ENGs making their performance look worse than it is.
Us
Jesse Compher was named PWHL player of the week for the first multi-goal and three point performance of her career.
The Sceptres played a very good game against the Sirens after a disappointing result in Halifax.
We would like a convincing and fun win tonight, but no pressure.
Lineups
Still no Renata Fast. Per THN, she is day-to-day with an LBI.
