Montréal Victoire @ Toronto Sceptres
6:30 PM ET @ Scotiabank Centre, Halifax
Watch in Canada: TSN 5, RDS
Watch Outside Canada: PWHL YouTube Channel and thepwhl.com
The Sceptres host tonight's game in a venue with 11,000 seats, giving them the opportunity to, well, likely have a lot of Victoire fans there too. It will be the sort of game with a lot of fans of both teams. Should be a great atmosphere.
The Sceptres last played a 10 days ago, as did the Victoire, when the Victoire won in regulation 3-1 in Laval over the Sceptres.
In between has been the rivalry tour games in North America and some tournament play in Europe as part of the road to the Olympics in February. Both teams had some busy players over this period.
The Sceptres and Victoire each have six points, but the Points % is .500 and .667 respectively. This is only the fourth game of the season for Montréal.
Toronto captain Blayre Turnbull, Allie Munroe, and head coach Troy Ryan, as well as Victoire head coach Kori Cheverie are all from Nova Scotia.
Performing tonight’s ceremonial puck drop will be Antonia and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance, a sister sailing team from Chester, NS. They represented Canada at the Paris 2024 Olympics and turned momentum into a huge 2025 season — winning the European Championship, earning two World Cup podiums, and taking bronze at this year's World Championships. Currently ranked number one in the world, the sisters are now chasing history on the road to LA 2028.
Tonight, the PWHL is welcoming a group of 50 from the Nova Scotia Indigenous Girl’s Hockey program who will have a special post-game autograph session with Victoire forward Abby Roque.
