Sheldon Keefe was all of us at the end of Saturday’s game.

Recap: Leafs fall to the Jets

The Maple Leafs were looking for a way to come back against the Jets in the game after Nikolaj Ehlers made it 4-2 on the powerplay via a questionable interference call on Morgan Rielly. That spark quickly disappeared after Hyman was called putting the team back on the penalty kill, but that’s not all that happened.

Keefe had enough, letting the referees know exactly what he thought of the call.

Hey! Hey! That happens 50 times a game! 50 times a game and you’re gonna f—king call that!?

I haven’t seen Keefe that mad since last February when the Leafs were losing to the New York Rangers.

The Leafs responded from that loss with a 5-4 overtime win over the Anaheim Ducks.

Ideally, they take out their rage and frustration on the Ottawa Senators and completely destroy them. But considering games against them don’t make sense, I’ll settle for the two points.

Go get em’ Hutch!
