The Maple Leafs are heading home to Toronto after a wild game last night in Boston. It’s a rainy and gloomy Sunday here, which matches the mood of Leafs fans after last night’s game.
The exact time of Nazem Kadri’s hearing with the DoPS is still to be determined, but it could be as early as today, so that any possible suspension would go into effect for Monday’s game.
There’s a lot of hot takes out there, but the reality is the Leafs left Boston with one win, and they really needed to do that. Now they get to play two games on their home ice, but if it’s without Kadri there will have to be some big changes to the lines. We’ll keep an eye out for news from practice that pops up today.
Back to Excited is out and Arvind and Fulemin have a lot to say about the first two games.

Recap: Canada falls to Finland at the World Championships - nafio and Annie
Finland will have their first chance at gold, while Canada will meet Russia in the bronze medal game.
Team Canada had an unfortunate result yesterday, losing 4-2. The Finns were sure excited when they sewed up the victory with a goal in the last minute of the third period.
The bronze medal game will be on TSN2 at 9:00 a.m. and the gold medal game will start at 1:00 p.m.
All three other games played yesterday went to OT.
The Predators defeated the Stars who lost Mattias Janmark during the game when he went hard into the boards. If you like watching videos of limbs twisting in ways that they are not designed to twist, this video is for you! I reccommend skiping it, myself.
The Capitals defeated the Hurricanes to go up 2-0 in their series. I really hoped the Hurricanes would be the Little Engine That Could in the playoffs, but, alas, it looks like their train has derailed.
The Flames defence learned that Nathan MacKinnon is faster than they are, and Mike Smith was Mike Smith coming out of the blue paint to stop a breakaway shot, and then not stopping it.
Kucherov suspended one game for hit on Markus Nutivaara - Raw Charge
The Lightning will be without their best player for a critical game three.
