The Toronto Maple Leafs continued their training for their upcoming series against the Columbus Blue Jackets by having a three game series between Team Matthews and Team Andersen, themed to the two players quarantining together. Some teams may think practicing like this isn’t fair and complain to the NHL, but we’ll just drink all of their delicious tears.

In game two, Team Matthews lit up Team Andersen 6-2, with two goals from William Nylander, one from Denis Malgin, Nick Robertson, Auston Matthews, and John Tavares. Jason Spezza and Alex Kerfoot scored for the losers.

Game three was another easy victory for Matthews & co. A 5-0 win with two goals each for Matthews and Ilya Mikheyev, and one for Mitch Marner.

The Leafs also posted interviews with Kyle Dubas and Sheldon Keefe this weekend:

If you missed our fashion reports, oh boy will you be in for a treat when it comes to off-ice fashion for the Leafs:

The Maple Leafs also got some paperwork done, signing defender Teemu Kivihalme to a two year contract extension.
