Another week is over, and some prospects really shone this weekend. Tiamshov, Marner, Johnson, and Jeremy Bracco, though he only had 3 points, really shone for his team. A freshman with three points in a game? That's fantastic.

Ontario Hockey League

Mitch Marner/JJ Piccinich - London Knights

October 23rd Owen Sound 1 @ London 5: 0G, 1A, +1 / 2G, 1A, +1
The Knights will never be truly bad it's felt for some time and this season helps that theory. 3 goals were scored Friday between the two Leafs prospects, with another two assists total as well.

October 24th: North Bay 3 @ London 4 (OT): 0G, 3A, +3 / 0G, 1A, +2
The JJ and Mitch show is rolling now, both got an assist on the Knights first goal and Marner kept running, finally helping on the game winner less than a minute into overtime.

Marner was outstanding in this game, and two of his three assists demonstrated the vision that makes him special. On the final play of the game, Marner faked shot with a nice leg kick and found top 2016 NHL Draft prospect Max Jones for the OT winner to complete the hat trick. - Scott Wheeler

October 25th: London 3 @ Windsor 6: 0G, 1A, / 0G, 0A, +1
The dynamic duo seemed to have used up all their magic at home, since there was one point total between then, a Marner secondary assist in the third period. London tied the game on that goal, but wouldn't see much of the o-zone in the third as Windsor scored three unanswered goals to take the win.

Travis Dermott - Erie Otters

October 23nd: Kingston 3 @ Erie 2 (OT): 0G, 1A, -1
Dermott fed Dylan Strome a nice pass at the end of the second period to give the otters a 2-0 lead. The Frontenacs would come back to tie the game in the third, then take it in OT.

October 24th: Saginaw 6 @ Erie 3: 0G, 0A, -1
This wasn't Dermotts weekend for scoring, and it wasn't the Otters weekend for winning as they go down to the Spirit 6-3.

Nikita Korotsolev - Sarnia Sting

October 22nd: Kitchener 6 @ Sarnia 3: 0G, 0A, -2
A bad start to the week for the Sting. Korotsolev wasn't at his peak but the whole Sting team was overpowered by the Rangers. Damn you Mike Van Ryn!

October 23rd: Sarnia 7 @ Sault Ste. Marie 2: 1G, 2A, +2
A trip north is a long bus ride from Sarnia, but this didn't put the Sting at a disadvantage as they came flying out of the gate in the Soo. Korotsolev banged in this second fo the season and assisted on one as part for a 4 goal first period. Nikita would get another assist in the second period as another 5 goals were scored betwene the two teams. Mostly by Sarnia.
Stephen Desrocher - Oshawa Generals

October 22nd: Oshawa 5 @ Peterborough 4 (OT) - 0G, 0A, +1
This was a high offense game with both teams taking over 30 shots each. DesRocher didn't nab any points this time out but did manage 3 shots on goal.

October 23rd: Oshawa 2 @ Ottawa 4: 0G, 0A, -1
Desrocher has been doing a good job on the Generals blue line so far this season. The game in Ottawa wasn't a show stopper though as the 67's double up on the Generals 4-2.

October 25th: Barrie 5 @ Oshawa 3: 0G, 0A, -2
If I said this wasn't Dermott's weekend, Desrocher's was just as bad.

Quebec Major Junior hockey League

Dmytro Timashov - Quebec Remparts

October 23: Quebec 5 @ Rimousk 2: 1G, 3A, +2
It was the Tima-show in Rimouski, with the Dmytro-Dynamo touching all but the Remparts second goal of the game. Two power play assists, on 5v5 assist and a 5v5 goal helped keep the Remparts ahead of the Oceanic on the QMJHL's "rivalry weekend".

October 25: Rimouski 1 @ Quebec 4: 0G, 1A
After stealing the show in Rimouski, Timashov was more subdued, assisting on a single power play goal in the third period to put the Remparts up by 2.

Martins Dzierkals - Rouyn-Noranda Huskies

October 21: Blainville-Boisbriand 0 @ Rouyun-Noranda 3 - 2G, 0A, +1
In the battle of the overly long team names the Huskies blanked the Armada 3-0. Dzierkals scored his eight and ninth goals f the season in the second period, the first coming on the powerplay.

October 23: Rouyun-Noranda 6 @ Val D'or 5 (OT): 0G, 1A
Sharing is caring and the Huskies passed around goals and assists all night. Dzierkals got his lone point assisting on the game winning OT goal. Not a bad time to chip in.

October 25: Val D'or 4 @ Rouyun-Noranda 3: 0G, 1A, -1
the road team was the winner in this rivalry weekend series. Dzierkals chipped in early, assisting on the 2nd period opening power play goal, but the Foreurs were pushing harder and took the game 4-3

Cody Donaghy - Halifax Mooseheads

October 20th: Halifax 3 @ Cape Breton 1 - Did Not Play

October 22nd: Moncton 2 @ Halifax 5 - Did Not Play

October 23rd: Cape Breton 4 @ Halifax 1 - Did Not Play
I bet the Mooseheads forgot Donaghy at a rest stop on a road trip and are pretending to not know who he is now. "Knee injury" indeed.
Western hockey League

Andrew Nielson - Lethbridge Hurricanes

October 23rd: Swift Current 2 @ Lethbridge 3 (OT): 0G,0A
The Hurricanes were able to hold on and take this one in OT. Having to play around a Broncos goalie who stopped 37/40 shots was hard work but the Hurricanes did it.

October 24th: Lethbridge 4 @ Edmonton 3: 1G, 2A, +2
In a game where the shots were opposite as the night before (26-41 for Edmonton) the Hurricanes played well defensively, and Nielson was a force on both ends of the ice potting the game tying goal in the third, and assisting on the game opening goal and a power play goal.
NCAA

Jeremy Bracco - Boston College Eagles

October 23rd: BC 3 @ Colorado College 0: 0G, 3A, +3
What a game for the rookie. Bracco assisted on all three Eagles goals on the first of two games vs the winless Colorado College.

All three of Bracco's goals in the game were the primary assists, including a particularly nice feed on the third goal. Head coach Jerry York called Bracco "snake bitten" after the game, so the breakout performance is no fluke. - Scott Wheeler

October 24th: BC 5 @ Colorado College 0: 0G, 0A
No points for the freshman in this thrashing of the now 0-6 Colorado College.

Dominic Toninato / Tony Cameranesi - U. Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs

October 23rd: UMD 3 @ Notre Dame 3: 0G, 0A, -1 / 0G, 1A, +1
The Bulldogs head east to take on the Fighting Irish this weekend and Cameranesi would help open the game by assisting on a goal at 6:27 of the first. that's it for Leafs Bulldogs and the game would tie 3-3.

October 24th: UMD 3 @ Notre Dame 3: 0G, 0A / 2G, 1A, +3
It was Tony's weekend as he followed up his 1 point game the night before with 3 in another 3-3 tie with Notre Dame. Cameranesi would scored twice the second and set up the game tying goal in the third.

Dakota Joshua - Ohio State Buckeyes

October 23rd: Ohio 1 @ Providence 2: 0G, 0A
Zeroes across the board for the young Joshua. Not even a shot off this game.

October 24th: Ohio 4 @ Providence 6: 0G, 0A, +1
He had a +1 tonight, but still no points or shots.

Nolan Vesey - U. Maine Black Bears

October 23rd: New Brunswick (not the province) 5 @ Maine 1: 0G, 0A
Just like Dakota, Nolan had nothin'.

Europe

Andreas Johnson - Frolunda HC, SHL

October 20: Frolunda 7 @ Linkoping 1: 0G, 2A
A big win for Frolunda and Johnson takes two assists in the match.

Johnson's week was highlighted by his two-goal performance on Saturday but this was just as impressive a performance. Two nice passes -- something Johnson has publicly said he's making an effort to work on this season. He wants to be more than a shooting threat and it has shown early on this season. - Scott Wheeler

October 23: Karlskrona 1 @ Forlunda 3: 0G, 1A
Another game, another win for Frolunda. Johnson assisted on the game winner in this one.

October 24: Forlunda 7 @ Karlskrona 1: 2G, 1A
Damn, Frolunda is good. Another three points for Johnson, you can read more about him in this article by Scott.

Jesper Lindgren - MODO, SHL

October 20: Djurgarden 4 @ MODO 3: 0G, 0A
MODO went up 3-0, but Djurgarden came storming back and won the game 4-3.

October 22: MODO 2 @ Vaxjo 5: 0G, 0A
This is not turning out to be MODO or Lindgren's week.

October 24: SKelleftea 5 @ MODO 3: 0G, 0A
Yeah, let's pretend this week didn't happen.

Lindgren plays Johnson's Frolunda Indians tomorrow for all those interested in catching two of the Leafs' top prospects in action in one game. Despite being scoreless through 13 games, Lindgren hasn't bounced out of the lineup on a team that has played 11 defenders. - Scott Wheeler

Pierre Engvall - Mora IK, Allsvenskan (Sweden second division)

October 20: Mora 1 @ Pantern 3: 0G, 0A
Pantern dominated this game and held control for a 3-1 win.

October 22: Oskarshamn 4 @ Mora 3: 0G, 0A
A close one, but Engvall still doesn't get a point.

October 24: Vita Hästen 3 @ Mora 0: 0G, 0A
Engvall once again held pointless.

Fabrice Herzog - Zurich Lions, Swiss A

October 20: Zurich 6 @ Biel-Bienne 1: 1G, 1A
Another big game playing with Auston Matthews. They traded goals and assists in this domination of Biel-Bienne.

October 23: Fribourg-Gotteron 3 @ Zurich 1: 0G, 0A
No points in the Zurich loss for Herzog.

October 25: Zurich 6 @ Langnau im Emmental: 0G, 0A
No points again as Zurich once again defeats "the city with the overly long name."
There's your prospects recap, and on Monday too!
