Training camp is set for the Sceptres ahead of their third season. They begin on November 7, and will have a media availability on the 11th. Nineteen of the 28 total players are under contract for the coming season. The roster has to be finalized by November 19, and is limited to 23 players. The PWHL uses an opening day salary cap system, where the roster has to be compliant on that first day. They are allowed to have three reserve players signed as well.

While there are two preseason games scheduled, they are not open to the public or broadcast in any way. Opening day for the new season is Novermber 21 against the Frost on the road in Minnesota.

Some information on the invites:

Kristin Della Rovere, 24, is a Harvard grad who played a few games for Ottawa in 2023-2024. She played in Italy last year and competed internationally for Italy, although she is from Caledon.

Lauren Messier, 22, has just completed her fourth year at Dartmouth. She is from Burlington.

Sarah Coe, 22, from Ajax, has four years at RIT.

Jessie McPherson, 22, is from Chatham and has four years at the University of Vermont and one with Minnesota State last season.
