PPP After Dark: The ex-Leafs move on

New, comments

Round Two. Fight!

NHL: St. Louis Blues at Toronto Maple Leafs John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

The second round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs starts tonight. There’s two games on tap, one of which features a team with no less than three ex-Maple Leafs. Can you imagine Tyler Bozak hoisting a Stanley Cup this June? With the odds-maker favourites Lightning, Capitals, Penguins, and Predators already ousted, who knows who will be in the final.

Blue Jackets @ Bruins
Time: 7:00 p.m. EDT
Broadcast: Sportsnet, CBC, NBCSN

Stars @ Blues
Time: 9:30 p.m. EDT
Broadcast: SN1, NBCSN

What about a Hurricanes vs. Stars Stanley Cup Final? I can already hear the screams from Sportsnet executives about those ratings.

ALSO: FUCK THE BRUINS.

There’s nothing to do for the remainder of the playoffs but sit back, relax, and watch other teams meltdown. Hopefully the Bruins. That would be quite fun.

OK. Not that fun, because, but, it’s better than nothing. If you are ready to move on from this season, or simply want a distraction for the night, PPP AD is here for you! Talk about the games, or whatever you feel like.
