Toronto's last game was on January 14 in Ottawa, and the Sceptres won 4-2 in regulation. Their record is 3-0-2-5 for a Points % of .367. They are last (still) but are only one point behind Boston.
Them
Boston made a trade this week, receiving Jill Saulnier for Taylor Girard.
Boston's main problem is they don't score much, but their goals against are decently low. It's not an accident that they have four overtime games, as their style lends itself to very tight games.
Us
Toronto Scores too little – but more than Boston – and they've had some really bad goaltending and defence at times. There are only three teams in the PWHL with a positive goal differential, so the line between a formula that works and one the doesn't is very small.
Toronto needs to start tipping towards scoring, and beating Boston would be a good place to start.
