Sceptres Gameday: An afternoon on the west coast

Toronto's last game was a 5-2 regulation win on the road in Seattle on Friday. The Sceptres have a Points % of .392 and are in seventh place. This game set the new US attendance record for women's hockey at 17,335.

Vancouver's last game was a 4-1 regulation loss on the road in Minnesota on January 28. The Goldeneyes have a Points % of .396 and are in sixth place.

Toronto's win on Friday put them ahead of Seattle and they are actually already ahead of Vancouver by points, with one more game played. The bottom three teams in the PWHL are knotted up tight, and who is in front or behind means very little right now, but that win for the Sceptres was important. The Points % they need to maintain over the rest of the season (13 games) to get ahead of where the Sirens are now has dropped to .590 with that win. But they need to also separate themselves from the other two teams.

Time is short and the room for error has all been used up but if I were to pick a team to make the surge it's the Sceptres. Unbiased analysis, honest.
