The Ottawa Charge are trying to write their own ticket to the playoffs, and they soundly beat the Sirens yesterday to sit five points ahead of both New York and Toronto.
Vancouver has been eliminated, and the Sceptres are now teetering on the edge. A loss today does not mean elimination – they still have two other games to play, but it's a near thing, and if they lose, they no longer control their own destiny, they have to have other teams lose to order for them.
Meanwhile, the Frost, nine points behind the Fleet and stuck in third place, actually can overtake them if they win out their three games, and Boston loses theirs.
