Today the Toronto Maple Leafs have signed Matthew Knies to a three-year ELC. Knies, now 20 years old, was drafted in 2021 57th overall. He has been playing in the NCAA for two years after several in the USHL. He is listed at 6'3" and 209 lbs, and plays left wing.

There are three games on tonight of interest to us. The Leafs minus a few regulars vs the Habs youthful new roster is going to be a typical late-season NHL game.

Happy Saturday, everyone. Today is April 8, one week from when the formal transfer of ownership of PPP took place. As anyone who was around yesterday knows, the domain transfer began on Friday morning.

No team is great all the time, and the Bruins have had some less than perfect games in March as they roll up the best regular season, maybe ever. But they aren't going to invite the Leafs over and not put on a show, so this will be a serious game.
