Alright, now that Brendan Shanahan has brought the Leafs back to drama, let's talk about it. Kyle Dubas is out as the Maple Leafs GM.
FTB: how many overtimes?
The first game in the Eastern Conference Final started at 8pm, and by 2am the next day I don't know who won. Sunbelt Hockey pretended it was in the pacific time zone as the Hurricanes and Panthers reached deep into quadruple overtime in a 2-2 game to open
FTB: Marlies swept in second round, too
Joseph Woll gave up seven goals in his first game back with the Marlies as the AHL squad tried to stave off elimination against the Rochester Americans. They ended up losing 8-4.

FTB: Just Win, Baby, or Else
I am of one mind for tonight. Win. Don't lose. That's all. Having to sit on this series deficit for two days has sucked. Leafs, win, because you are so much better than losing to the Florida Panthers.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have the day off but we don't. Spend your Leafs-free Saturday with us.

This was not the game #2 you were looking for.
FTB: The sun did not come out this morning, but that's OK
The Leafs kicked off their series against the Florida Panthers last night with a 4-2 loss. It wasn't a great outing, but the team didn't look terrible like they did in their first game against the Lightning, so I don't have that sense of dread this morning like I did back for the previous game #1.
